Portwell IWOS System conceptually partitions the processing system into two domains. The first domain was validated to work with multiples MEC Arch modules, which supports PCIe Acceleration cards like HDDL (High Density Deep Learning) and other off the shelf PCIe cards, providing the scalability to support current and future workloads such as video and analytic applications. The second domain is the baseboard of the system, which provides connection for MEC Arch modules. This provides the mechanical mounting point, power along with physically and electrically standard connectors and interfaces (PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, and so on). It is intended that MEC Arch modules will be interoperable with various IWOS baseboards/systems.
